Merry Movies for the 90’s Kids

It’s no wonder I love Christmas. I grew up in the 90s- the legendary decade of the rebirth of Christmas movie magic. Relive it with me…

Home Alone 1 (1990)

Home Alone 2 (1992)

The Santa Clause (1994)

– The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)

– Honorable Mention (?)-  Jingle all the Way (1996) – terrible movie, but few voices scream ‘nineties’ than ‘ole Arnie’s. With a couple drinks and the right group of friends, this could make for a fun night.

Honorable Mention (?)- Ernest Saves Christmas (1988) I haven’t seen this since I was a kid, but will be revisiting it this year, to appease the child inside my husband. Maybe I’ll write a review here when I do 😉

Movies we can leave in the nineties: Jack Frost, Miracle on 34th Street (remake. boo.), and I’ll be home for Christmas (sorry, JTT. I’ve so over you.)

  1. I really want to watch Ernest Saves Christmas again. I loved it when I was a kid, I hope it holds up!
